Error Codes

This page contains a collection of all the error codes for our automatic biofireplace burners. This covers Denver Basic and Denver e-ribbon fire burners.

Denver Basic error codes

Spill Top

The fireplace does not start or the fire turns to auto-switch-off mode.

Liquid has been detected inside the over-spill safety-chamber surrounding the fuel inlet.

Dry off any spilled bioethanol thoroughly with paper towels. Leave the pop-up lid open for at least one hour in order to allow any remaining bioethanol to evaporate completely. Then close the pop-up lid of the fuel inlet.

Spill Bottom

The fireplace does not start or the fire turns to auto-switch-off mode.

Liquid has been detected inside te safety-chamber situated in the bottom of the housing of Denver Basic.

Dry off any spilled bioethanol thoroughly with paper towels. Leave the pop-up lid open for at least one hour in order to allow any remaining bioethanol to evaporate completely. Then close the pop-up lid of the fuel inlet.

No Flame

The fireplace does not start or the fire turns to auto-switch-off mode.

The filament is not working or there is too much draft in the room.

Try to reduce the draft around the fireplace by closing any windows or doors. If that does not help, call your point of sale or contact Decoflame directly on +45 9630 4800. Make sure to have the serial number at hand (this can be found on the back side of the burner and on the rating plate in the manual).

SENSOR

The fireplace does not start or the fire turns to auto-switch-off mode.

The built-in temperature sensor has detected too high temperatures inside the housing of Denver Basic.

Make sure that the fireplace has been installed according to the technical drawing and the installation manual and has sufficient natural ventilation. If the error keeps occuring, contact your point of sale or Decoflame directly +45 9630 4800.

HOT
Evaporator

The fireplace does not start or the fire turns to auto-switch-off mode.

The built-in temperature sensor has detected too high temperatures inside the housing of Denver Basic.

Make sure that the fireplace has been installed according to the technical drawing and the installation manual and has sufficient natural ventilation. If the error keeps occuring, contact your point of sale or Decoflame directly +45 9630 4800.

Empty Fuel
Tank

The fire shuts down and cannot be started until refuelled.

The fuel level in the tank is too low or the tank is empty.

Do not switch off the electronics and fill the fuel tank as described in section 6. og the manual.
